Vintage Guatemala 900 Silver Quetzal Bird Brooch Two Tone with 10k Gold Accent

Lovely old handmade 900 silver brooch from Guatemala. The wing is a thin piece of 10k gold, giving a nice contrast to the silver. It is shaped like a quetzal bird, or bird of paradise. The pin has a safety latch to prevent it from falling off. The latch can be engaged by pushing it into place with your fingernail. It's just shy of 2" long by 3/4" wide. Very good vintage condition with light signs of wear.
