Vintage Guy De Pelteau Quebec, St. Gelais Inc. Studio Pottery Vase Unique design

This is a beautiful very unique piece, kind of looks like lava and like there is some Raku technique used, but I’m not sure. The colors vary from magenta to gold to green to teal to blue. Height is 5 inch, width is around 7 inches. It is signed on the bottom, Guy De Pelteau. He is a famous artist in Canada. Those from Canada and love pottery are probably aware of who he is. There is an original label that states, "Realisations Saint Gelais Inc. Fait Au/Made in Canada. It’s a numbered piece. 180po This is a piece from the collection of realisations Saint-Gelais Inc. Each piece is hand finished in the studio by Guy De Pelteau and the artists trained by him. Schooled at the Beaux Arts in Montreal. Guy has been a leader in his field of ceramics for over 35 years.
