So insanely adorable! Given to first owner by her children in the 1950’s. Clearly Handpainted. Love the faces and overpainting on lips. Shafford was a company in Japan that did very popular imitations and reproductions of fine English porcelain figurines. The antique English pieces were far more expensive and Shafford filled in the gaps with their products.
