Vintage Handmade Petit-Point Lion (Leo) Charm

This listing is for a vintage handmade charm/pendant. The charm features a silver tone filigree sunflower-shaped base with a lion in the centre, worked in petit-point embroidery. There is a thin plastic cover over the stitching (of the sort you might find in a picture frame). This charm came off of a sterling silver mid-century charm bracelet that had a lot of sterling charms (including a "Leo" horoscope charm), but due to the type of charm that it is and the fact that I can't find any markings on it, I would guess this one is probably not sterling. It definitely has that kind of tone though, as it does not look out of place against the others. It is about the size of a 10 cent coin. This listing is for the charm only, it does not currently have a bail or ring attached. It was previously attached to the bracelet with a jump ring through one of the holes in the filigree "petal" shapes. This lovely piece is in great condition and would look wonderful worn on another bracelet or as a pendant on a necklace.
