Vintage Hard Shell Kazeto briefcase / suitcase

This vintage piece dates back to the 1940s or 1950s. It was made in Czechoslovakia by Kazeto. Amazingly, Kazeto is still producing luggage in the Czech Republic. This iconic case is made from cardboard with a light-weight wooden frame. It is reinforced with rivets and leather to protect the corners. There are light scuffs and scratches, but no damage to the cardboard or the structure. The paper lining has a small rip (see pic) but could be easily repaired. The original keys are not available. This case measures 21" long, 12.5" wide, by 6" deep and is a reddish-brown.
