Vintage Hexagonal Christmas Basket with Lid and Organizer Insert Longaberger 97

Beautifully handcrafted basket from Longaberger’s 1997 Christmas Collection “Snowflake” basket. Incredible quality and workmanship. Durable basket made from high quality materials. 10 1/4” x 9.5” wide x 7 1/4” high plus the knob. The cotton liner can be removed so this can be used all year round. Makes great holiday decor, fill it with treats or use it as a sewing basket. Longaberger has been making baskets in Dresden Ohio since 1896! Comes with a removable holly and berries over-the-edge fabric liner which attaches on 2 sides with Velcro. Solid maple lid and green stained knob. Bentwood carrying handle. Copper rivets. Reinforced wood bottom inside and out. 2 tones of woven material basket matching the wood stain on lid and knob. Rigid durable plastic protector is divided into 3 compartments. The Longaberger metal plate on the front still has the protective film intact. Longaberger Woodcrafts is embossed on the underside of the lid. The underside of the basket is initialed by the weaver and dated 1998. It’s in excellent condition. There’s just a bit of scuffing on the edges of the lid knob.
