Vintage Horse Needlepoint, Completed Framed Picture, Grey Horsehead, Equestrian

COMPLETED FRAMED PIECE - NOT A KIT. This is a striking needlepoint portrait of a grey horse in a bridle. It really pops against the black background. Yarn is wool. It has been matted with a grey mat and is framed in a silver frame with a brushed textured finish. NO GLASS. Wired for hanging on the back. Handmade by an amateur crafter, initials DFC in the lower right corner. Brand of canvas is Retouche' Main (French). Measurements: 19 1/2" tall x 15 3/4" wide x 1/2" deep. Condition: One of the corners of the frames is splitting a bit - see photo. There is a bit of a bend in part of the mat - see photo. The canvas was stretched a bit askew in the frame.
