Vintage Hudson’s Bay Company Multistripe Wool Blanket (4-Point) – 1950s/60s Era

Beautiful and authentic vintage Hudson’s Bay Company wool blanket in the classic multistripe pattern (black, yellow, red, green). This belonged to my grandparents and is an original mid-century 4-Point blanket from the late 1950s to early 1960s. The blanket is soft, warm, and has the thick felted wool texture HBC is known for. Colors are still vibrant and even throughout. All four edges were re-hemmed decades ago, so the original point marks and label are no longer present — very common in older, well-loved Hudson’s Bay blankets. Measurements (laid flat): Approx. 72” wide x 78–80” long (Standard mid-century shrinkage from the original 4-Point size.) Condition: • Very Good vintage condition • No major holes or staining • Wool is thick and evenly felted • Re-stitched hems (no label/point marks) • Colours are bright and iconic A gorgeous piece of Canadian heritage — perfect for a collector, a cabin, cottage décor, display, or everyday cozy use.
