Hughes-Owens sketch book with wire-o binding. The company was incorporated in Montreal in 1900 that specialized in supplies for architects, engineers, and surveyors. The company also provided art supplies and scientific instruments. During World War II, the company's factory in Ottawa, Ontario, produced equipment for the war effort, including instruments for aircraft and navigational equipment.
