Vintage Huichol ceramic frame 6”x4”

This is a precious Mexican Huichol ceramic frame. The entirety measures approximately 7”x5.5” The photo insert is 6”x4” with an oval opening of 3.5”x 3.5” made of handmade clay/glazed, painted, wax, & tiny glass beads. The Huichol art is crafted by the hands of an ethnic group living in the Sierra Madre Occidental of Mexico that seeks to immortalize the views of cosmogony and daily life of a culture that is still alive and proud of their roots. *Buyer note there are few missing beads*
