A beautiful and classic piece of American Elegant Glass from the renowned Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio. This is a single Low Sherbet glass, which also serves perfectly as a Champagne Coupe, in the iconic and beloved Candlewick pattern.
The Candlewick pattern (#400) is instantly recognizable by the signature ring of sparkling glass beads or "pearls" that form the foot of the piece. What makes this particular glass special is the addition of the "Polka Dot" cutting (#400/122). This elegant, wheel-cut decoration features a band of frosted ovals nestled between two fine lines encircling the rim, adding a touch of sophisticated charm.
Produced from the 1930s through the 1980s, Candlewick is a timeless pattern that remains highly collectible. This versatile glass is perfect for serving desserts like sherbet, ice cream, or a fruit cocktail. It also functions beautifully as a stylish coupe for champagne or craft cocktails, making it a wonderful addition to any vintage barware collection.
