Vintage Japan Painted Volcano Pagoda Abalone Shell Jewelry Box Volcano is painted with some glitter. Top is all painted scene. Abalone shell is the frame. Inside is has a painted scene on the mirror. Corduroy velvet like material lines the 2 trays. Does have a music box that kind of plays~ here and there. Marked "Japan". Measures 4 1/2 inches tall x 6 x 10 inches. Pre-owned. Some chipping on abalone shell. There is a crack along the bottom shell line about 7 1/2 inches. Closure is bend. Ribbon that hold top on the inside is broken. Music box doesn't play correctly. Painted on mirror is worn. Wear on the outside paint job.
