Vintage Japanese Floral Lacquer Plastic Box Imported by Eatons

This red plastic vintage box was made in Japan and imported by Eaton’s. Eaton’s was a Canadian department store that closed in 1999. The box measures approximately 8.5 inches wide (21.5 cm). It has a white and gold flower on the lid and the inside is black. It can be used to store jewelry, souvenirs, or any other treasures. There are no cracks or damage to the plastic, however, there are many scuff marks to the lid, some tiny paint chips, and a patch of discolouration near the flower on the lid and near the bottom on the side of the box. Although it is not in perfect cosmetic condition, it is still a pretty vintage piece that will display well in your home.
