π This ori fukuro obi (woven) is made of natural silk with real gold foil.
π¨ The base colour is a gold-ish pink. I think the pictures have captured the true tune quit well.
𧩠The patterns are for all season (except summer months) and are primarily Genji Monogatari themed β one of the most iconic literature in Japanese history. You see Lady Murasaki sitting next to the rolled up kichou, while Hikaru Genji looking at her by the door. On the side there are Goshoguruma surrounded by flowers and plants, along with the Seven Treasures of Japan which brings fortune to people.
π The style of this Fukuro Obi is called Emaki, meaning itβs like a scroll that portray a story/scene. This is formal and is to be worn only with formal kimono such as houmongi.
πͺ‘ This is in great condition for wearing. You can for sure take lots of beautiful photos in it.
π Standard Fukuro Obi is approx 415~440cm in length, 30cm in width.
