A beautifully hand-painted ceramic vase made by Jasba in West Germany, dating to the 1960s–1970s. The vase features vibrant floral folk art motifs in cobalt blue, green, yellow, and red on a lightly textured cream background. Its distinctive braided double handles and rich color palette make it a standout piece of mid-century German design.
The base is incised with the mold/decor number “N902 1025”, a known marking used by Jasba. While this particular vase no longer has its original label, identical examples carried a foil sticker reading:
“Jasba – Made in West-Germany – über 1090°C gebrannt – Hartkeramik aus dem Kannenbäckerland.”
This refers to its high-fired stoneware quality and origin in the traditional pottery region of Kannenbäckerland.
