Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier Quilt Tote Handbag

Bought this from a reputable Japanese second-hand store (Closet Child Tokyo) I believe that this is real as the store only sells authentic Japanese and noteworthy Western designer brands. If anyone can pinpoint the year this bag was released let me know! In good condition - a bit of the leather in parts of the handle has sanded off. Not very noticeable but can be very easily fixed.
