Vintage Ladies Brass Victorian Style Boot Vase/Matchstick Holder/Decor piece

Interesting and unique to be sure! The piece has no tags, so I can not verify its age or origin; however, it is said to be vintage. It is weighty at 1.2 pounds and is approximately 9.5 inches tall and about 8.5 inches long. It does not seem to bear any blemishes other than some very light wear on the sole and left side of the boot-both of which require very close examination. It may be used as a vase or could sit on the fireplace and hold matchsticks.
