VALENTINE! ANNIVERSARY, too! A personal Bride's Hope Chest with delicate, hand made vintage European wedding laces, & jewelry! Very special is the incredible & rare vintage Baker Corp Samson Porcelain Cameo, a bagpiper, playing love songs to his true love, framed with stunning vintage rhinestone earrings, in perfect condition, set on a hand made Belgian lace doily, with a stunning ivory lace bow. These pieces and the cherub brass stamp are on lavish European wedding lace wrapping front to back, leaving a scallop edging to hang down the front. The box is wrapped and trimmed with 3 other lovely wedding laces & two very old ecru lace motifs set on either end. Surprises are inside, the interior lid covered with an antique, hand beaded netting in silver & gold, reminiscent of the corals in the sea! Behind the netting, as all of my Lane Chests, the Lane name has been preserved. Most precious inside, a vintage hand made Filet lace collar with tiny covered buttons has been used as a cover for a bride's treasures. Lifting the ends, to reveal the "something blue" vintage hankie to carry down the aisle! A glistening surprise of a rhinestone heart & tiny key with a bow, a vintage lace bow of hearts, on a vintage Belgian doily, motif & a bobbin lace and embroidered doily, with pearl and rhinestone insets, all on a linen mat liner with hand crocheted edges. The box is finished with felt pad surface protectors, hand signed, along with my signature matching appliqué of lace swatches.
