Vintage Large Royal Doulton John Barleycorn Old Lad Character Toby Jug Dates to around 1934-39 This is an early edition not a later reproduction. Designed by Charles Noke The ‘A’ in the backstamp signifies ‘fine earthenware’. Measures approximately 6 1/2” tall x 7” long x 4 1/2” wide No chips, cracks, or crazing. Does have a small scratch at the back, 3/8” long, as shown in last photo. Lots of white reflections in the photos. Smoke free, cat friendly home.
