Vintage Latchhook Rugs 80s Tigers Pair Beautiful Grandmas House Shillcraft Large

Straight from Grandma’s house! Set of two (2) Tiger hand-looped rugs from 1981 & February ‘85. Really good condition and large and with decent weight. They are very plush with very unique subject matter and such a sweet pair of vintage tapestry art. Each rug measures 51” x 31” Condition notes: rug one (top rug in pictures) is in very excellent condition with one patch of slight fraying on the backside in the top corner. Otherwise wonderful condition. See picture. Rug 2 (bottom rug in pictures) side by side you can see it has that it has been walked on more and has a more darkened side with a small dirty spot (see pictures) but would still be considered very good condition, especially for its age! Items have not been dry cleaned. Dry clean only, no machine washing. They have been vacuumed, wiped and rolled and plastic wrapped for shipping and are ready for a new home where they will be loved hopefully for another 40 years! A really a beautiful set of vintage hand made tapestry from the 1980’s. Tag is Shillcraft Latchet Hook Kit with the creator’s name and dates 1981 on one and 1985 on the other (43 years old!) Can be used as rugs or even mounted on a hanging pole for beautiful wall art. From very clean, non smoking home.
