Made during a carnival glass
revival period (1970s) ; hence
“late carnival glass”
Originally carnival glass became
popular in the early 1900s
Opaque; heavily frosted glass
Gold/opaque medium yellow
in colour
Won as prizes at the local Jaycee
fair held annually in Victoria, BC
until, I believe, the mid-1970s
Unfortunately, the goblets were put
through the dishwasher; may have
diminished some appeal; asking
price reflects that incident; fingers
will not be pointed 😊
Approximately 6 inches in height
3 ¾ inch diameter across opening
3-inch diameter across base
Imbedded diamond shape around
circumference
No chips or cracks detected
General wear and tear on both
glasses
Nostalgic
