A rare find to have a complete Hey Diddle Diddle Lamp from Laura Ashley! Other lamps are either sold as the base only or with a replaced generic shade. Not only is the shade original, it's in great condition, as is the rest of this working lamp. Inspired by the nursery rhyme by Mother Goose, the base of the lamp features a sweet smiling Moon looking upwards at the cow jumping over it. The cow has a daisy in its mouth, while wearing a garland of flowers. The shade features the cow jumping over the moon, the cat and the fiddle, and the dish running off with the spoon. It's such a delightful and charming lamp, that would bring miles of smiles for you and your baby. The lamp is in very good condition with only a handful of minor nicks.
