They are embellished with metal o- rings down the sides of the thighs and a zipper down the back of each calf. The majority of the fabric is cotton, with some spandex, and is very soft. As depicted in the photos, these pants were well loved and worn. I had them repaired at a seamstress when the inner thighs wore away and they are now reinforced.
