Vintage Locking Shell Scarf Clip

This vintage scarf clip is made of a gold tone metal and has a locking clip clasp. The scarf clip is shaped like a layered shell with a rounded, detailed clip arm. It appears that the clip was originally all gold tone, but it has faded to a silvery-gold in most places. The little hinge lock is the littlest bit loose but can easily be tightened by pinching the metal beside the round post (with pliers, not your hands).
