In 1950, Louis Féraud created his first "Maison de Couture" in Cannes and by 1955 had established a couture house in Paris on 88, Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré and 57, rue Pierre-Charron.
From the mid-1950s he was dressing the Parisian elite and designed the wardrobe of Brigitte Bardot for many of her movies.
This pristine, stunning checkered tweed blazer from Holt Renfrew has original handwritten price tag $1480. NWT
A soft spring colour palette. Accent buttons of brushed gold tone with white enamel and the prominent Louis Féraud branding and logo. Structured shoulder. Banded liner. Clean, collarless neckline. The ultimate ‘Ladies Who Lunch’ look.
Based on the research I did on this piece, the style, material composition and Louis Féraud “made in Germany” label, I believe this gorgeous blazer is from the late 80s to early 90s.
The jacket fits size 4-8 depending on your desired look.
