Vintage MACKWOODS LIMITED CEYLON TEA CADDY

This is an vintage stamped silver plated tea caddy made by Mackwoods Limited of Ceylon (Sri Lanka), established in 1841.It's a round jar with bands of scrollwork and the company's coat-of-arms including a dragon on the front, the domed lid features a small elephant knob and band of scrollwork and fits the jar snugly.It's in very good condition without any cracks or dents. It has expected patina. It measures almost 5" tall and 3" in diameter.
