Vintage MCM 1956 Lisa Larson Gustavsberg Sweden Advent Pattern Candle Holder

The candleholder was designed in 1956 as part of the Advent series and is a very rare find! It is MCM era-typical Swedish design! At the time this candle holder was made, Stig Lindberg was the artistic director at Gustavsberg and mentored Larson, so it appears Lindberg's work influenced this design. There are many Lindberg bowls and vases that share the same scooped top with pointed ends. The piece has its original Gustavsberg sticker label and the impressed Gustavsberg mark. The glaze appears to have been hand applied. Appears to have been only lightly used, in excellent condition for age with no chips or cracks.
