Vintage MCM 1960’s Dansk #825 Salt & Pepper Grinder by Jens Quistgaard

A carved solid teak "Vanguard" salt and pepper mill designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk. Quistgaard designed his collectable series of combination salt shaker pepper mills between the late 1950's and early 1960's. The "Vanguard" peppermill was one of Quistgaard’s earliest designs. Sculptural & fully functional, this model number 825, holds salt in the top & the lower half grinds pepper. Simply remove the peg & fill. With a quality metal mechanism by Peugeot Freres Lion, France, this salt & pepper mill will serve you well for years to come. Good vintage condition.
