Vintage MCM Blue Mountain Water Pitcher

This specific piece was sold in Kelowna BC and it is in excellent condition, no flaws noted. Sculpted from red clay and colored with Blue Mountain Pottery's traditional green & blue hues. Blue Mountain Pottery was founded in 1953 and closed in 2004. When the company shut its doors, all of their pottery moulds were destroyed. The studio used a glazing process known as "Reflowing Decorating" that gives Blue Mountain pottery its distinctive look that no one else has been able to quite replicate, making these pieces extra special.
