Vintage MCM Mysterious Blue Woman Tapestry Portrait by Penelope, Titled 'Farida'

Vintage mid century handmade needlepoint portrait from a pattern by 'Penelope, the name in needlework.' This portrait is titled 'Farida' and was done in the 1960s. Beautiful shades of blue and abstract rendering give this portrait an ethereal quality. The portrait and frame show some minor age, some foxing discolouration here or there and a few sparse spots. Normal wear to frame. Overall good vintage condition for it's age. The last picture shows the original pattern for reference, it is not included. Measures 19.5 x 16 inches.
