Vintage Unique 1960s Robert Larin brutalist modernist sculptural silver plated and red enamel four panel bracelet.
“Robert Larin was a Montreal-based designer who was in business roughly from 1968 to 1973. He made most of his jewelry of cast pewter, using the lost wax process at a factory on Rue Papineau. Each piece was filed by hand to remove any surface roughness, then oxidized or plated with silver or gold, and finally polished.”
According to my research, no two Robert Larin creations are the same.
Textured shiny silver plated pewter with raised boxes filled with red enamel.
Metal unmarked, no patina, shiny!
Maker’s signature inside, as shown.
7” long x 1 5/16” wide
Very comfortable while wearing.
Does have some play and flexibility due to the four panels connected by jump rings.
Closure is secure.
One panel has a small piece of enamel missing, as shown.
Smoke free, cat friendly home.
