Vintage MCM horse / foal trinket tray / ashtray made in Japan

Vintage mid modern century Ceramic ashtray with horse / foal Made in Japan, likely from Tilso Can be use as a trinket tray or to put jewelry In very good vintage condition. I think originally there was a chain that was connecting them to each other. Very original and unique piece !
