Vintage MCM minimalist art vase, Rosenthal group Thomas Germany Scandi inspired

...brown and silver porcelain art vase, lusterware op art vase A very unusual vintage porcelain vase by Thomas, Germany in a mocha brown body and bold mirrored silver band on top. Very Scandinavia inspired in look and feel, yet from the quality German maker Thomas (part of Rosenthal). It would look amazing with a small emerald or deep green leafed plant or a small fern. Thomas was established in 1903 in the Upper Franconian town of Marktredwitz. They were taken over by Rosenthal in 1908. Up until the 1980s the Thomas collections were foremost characterised by Scandinavian design. This vase dates ca 1960-1970, judging from the look and colour. Condition: very good without chips, cracks or repairs. The silver band with light scratches and mild surface wear. Size: 6-1/4 inches tall (16 cm)
