Vintage MOP Carved Shell Pendant

This vintage pendant is made of a large piece of mother of pearl shell and has a silver tone bail. The pendant has two distinct sides and could be worn with either side facing out. The "back" side is white with rainbow iridescence throughout, and the "front" has the same iridescence but with white AND brown in the background. There are two holes carved through the lower half that look like drifting commas, and the "front" side has a leaf outline carved at the top on either side. I've seen similarly carved pieces listed as antique, but I don't know enough about MOP or shells to be able to assert that here. I've also seen similar pieces with irregular blisters and bumps, but I don't believe this piece has any. There is normal wear throughout, but no issues affecting wearability. To my knowledge, there are no chips, cracks, or breaks in the shell/MOP. To be clear, this listing is for the pendant only, not the chain.
