Vintage Marcasite 925 Ribbon Brooch

This gorgeous vintage brooch is stamped 'Foreign', by which I believe it means the brand, not that it is randomly foreign to whomever had a stamp. It is made of sterling silver and is in the shape of a looped over ribbon, dotted with beautiful marcasite stones. The silver has a lovely dark patina that makes the shine of the marcasite even more vibrant. The pin has a modern locking c pin closure and has no damage beyond the patina and normal wear.
