Vintage Marcelle Paris Sequin Beaded Dress

Stunning, all sequins and silk dress. Patterns are outlined in round black beads, black bugle beads trim the neckline and hem. Yellow, red, iridescent green, iridescent blue, white. Has a bit of a Mondrian style and colours going on. Original store labels attached Marcelle-Paris. There are 2 fabric labels, Marcelle Paris and Creative Creations. Best guess on age would be the ‘80’s. Original price tag of $495. would be in Euros. Size seems accurate, small. Back zipper. I don’t see any missing beads or sequins, may have missed a few. While the label says 100% silk, I think that refers to the layer the beads and sequins are on. I feel the lining is a stronger acetate fabric. Probably a good idea as this dress is meant to fit tight. Measurements are, laid flat: 16” across the back under armholes, 15” across the waist, 17” hips, 38” length.
