Beautiful indigenous folk art from Mexico. I can confidently say it is Vintage or older. Terra cotta fired with paint and clear coated with Resin or similar. The art and materials are quite primitive. There is a small lump in the plate near the bottom, that was always there. Perhaps the artist took seconds from a place that fired the plates. The area where the string passes has low chipping, meaning it is not deep and unthreatening to the piece Its a Mayan Calendar folk art plate. There is some folk vintage plates around but not too many of this subject. I do not see a signature.
