Vintage McCoy Happy Circus Clown Cookie Jar - 1950's

Stamped 'McCoy' on bottom - Happy Clown Cookie Jar 1950's Cookie Jar is large - 2 piece - that lines up with the clown face design. The cookie jar is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing to the exterior. Paint is well saturated and remains viivid. The nose of the clown has one very small area of loss at the top of the nose - see photos. The pom poms on the top of the hat are intact. The interior is clean. There is one small area of loss at the bottom of the jar where the glaze has worn off. See photo. Other than that the interior has no cracks or repairs. Glaze is high shine and lustrous. This is not an item intended for dishwasher use - must be hand washed. 10” tall with lid, 7” wide, 6 ¾” deep without lid.
