Vintage Meissen "Blue Onion" Gravy Boat Blue Crossed Swords Made in Germany

This is a lovely Meissen porcelain gravy boat with an attached underplate in the "Blue Onion" floral pattern. The background color is white with a blue floral pattern hand painted over the entire inside surface of the boat, accenting the outside of the gravy boat, and all around the rim of the underplate. It has beautiful raised details where the handles are applied to the outside of the bowl. The blue crossed swords mark on the bottom was used between 1947-1973. The gravy boat and plate is about 7 inches across the handles, 10 inches long and about 3 3/4 inches tall to the highest point. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or crazing.
