Vintage Melmac Dinner Plates, Set of 6 Malibu Ware Plastic Melamine Dishes, Mid

This is a set of 6 Melmac "Malibu Ware" melamine (plastic) dinner plates with a very Mid Century, Atomic design on the edges that features starburst and other designs in shades of turquoise and brown. It bears a striking resemblance to Franciscan's "Del Mar" pattern although it is not exactly. These plastic dishes are great for camping, picnics, RV use, kids use, seniors, etc. Measurements: 9 1/2" diameter Condition: The finish is burnished from significant utensil marks, and no longer shiny. Mostly visible in the light. One plast has a yellow line on it - see photo.
