Vintage Mexican Border Service Medal Collectible

Vintage Mexican Border Service medal for service on the U.S.-Mexico border between the dates of January 1, 1916 and April 6, 1917. The medal was first issued in 1918 and has a green and yellow striped ribbon with a brass medallion hanging from it. The obverse of the medallion features a sword hanging from a shield that says on it "FOR SERVICE ON THE MEXICAN BORDER." The reverse features a federal eagle with a banner in its mouth and leaves and arrows in its talons. The background has crossed rifles, crossed swords and crossed cannons on it. In vintage condition with wear as expected for age and no inscription on the edge of the medal. I have other medals listed in my closet for you to bundle and save on shipping.
