Vintage Mexican Oaxaca Black Pottery owl figurine, barro negro black mud, Mexico

Small Oaxaca black clay owl figurine with block colors, green, pink, white and brown front and back. The back has a different bird and flowers. Very unique. Black Clay (barro negro in Spanish) from Oaxaca, Mexico is famous for its color, sheen and unique shapes and decorative designs. This one appears to be a little older, but they are hard to date! Good vintage condition; there are a few small dinks to the glaze and wear throughout consistent with age and use. 6.5” height 3.25” depth 6.25” width
