Vintage Mid Century Italian velvet wedding blanket, fringed, full size bed

Absolutely stunning Mid Century Italian velvet wedding blanket. This bedspread is super heavy, a very collectible and rare item! Velvet is soft yet the blanket is very heavy due to its crafting, the back is a thick material, almost like a rug backing. Colors are simply fabulous: orange, hot pink, yellow, red, emerald green with a chenille fringe in orange red and yellow on three sides. Design is very dramatic, full of roses, cherubs, flowers... This is a luxury piece. There is a made in Italy label underneath. the condition is excellent, very minimal signs of wear, no noted issues, fringe has a few frayed threads underneath. Please see pictures for accuracy. measurements are: 106" long x 86" wide Made for a full / double size bed, with draping of 16.5" on each side.
