Vintage Mid Century Pilkington Chance Glass Dish or Decorative Tray With Yellow Roses Pattern. Robert Lucas Chance, previously a manager at Nailsea, bought the British Crown Glass Company in 1824. He was joined by his brother William Chance in 1932, and from then on the factory became known as Chance Brothers. In 1945 the company was taken over by Pilkington glass.
