Vintage Mid Century paint on silk artwork, pink ballerina, wood framed

Stunning! Vintage mid century hand painted ballerina on silver silk. Slightly padded, it is professionally framed on a textured wood frame and a glass cover, with hardware on the back. This fabulous piece was likely made in France and is signed Michel. The details of the painting are exquisite with the ballerina wearing a petticoat, a pink headdress with green accents. The black matte is delicately scalloped and gives the perfect finishing touch. This is a very unique piece and would look fabulous in so many settings: on a gallery wall, in a nursery or a bedroom. Since this is silk, I would not suggest hanging this in a room with a high humidity level such as a bathroom or ensuite. Condition is excellent, very minimal wear on the frame, please see pictures for accuracy.
