Vintage Mixed Metal & Bakelite/Catalin Necklace Art Deco/Modernist Early Plastic

Nifty vintage necklace with bakelite/catalin plastic. The pendant is made of mixed metals and the design encorporates two pieces of butterscotch and black bakelite. Not sure of which era this piece is from but it has a really cool modernist/bauhaus vibe. Very good vintage condition, there is some tarnish and patina spots on the metal and the bakelite has some wear. The brass plating on the chain is worn off at the back where it makes contact with the neck of the wearer. The chain closure is stuck closed but it is so long that it can easily go over the head to put it on. The pendant is 3 1/4" × 2 1/8" and the chain is app 36"
