Vintage Modernist Statement Necklace IXEL Mexican Designer Gold Brass and Silver

Vintage mixed metal brutalist or modernist style statement necklace by IXEL Mexico. Very collectible. Made between 1940-1980. This designer made their own metal blends apparently. Similar to brass and silver. This has been coated to prevent tarnish and should not be polished or the polishing will promote future tarnish. This does have some spots patina from age and some small spots of green patina on the underside. I did not scrub this. It is a stunning piece. It has a simple hook closure. From back of neck to pendant is approximately 6.5”. Pendant is approximately 2” x 2.5”.
