...decorative booze bottle housewarming gift, ship lantern bottle A vintage decanter, the glass bottle encased in a thin brass metal surround, with a music box mounted on the bottom. The music will play when the bottle is lifted. The top with a cork and a thin wire carry handle. A great mid-century piece, perfect on a mantle or teak bar cart! Marked underneath JAPAN, the music box plays "How Dry I Am" Condition: With marks of age and use, including some rust and discoloration stains to the metal. Some of the gold swirl decoration on the side of the bottle has rubbed off. The wooden plaque on the bottom with some chips and dents as pictured. The original stopper is present, the cork with a slight chip, the top brass knob comes off to reveal a pouring spout. The top brass knob is quite discoloured from years of handling. The music box works, I personally feels it plays a little slow. Size: ca 10 3/4 inches tall including the stopper. (27 cm)
