Vintage Nambé 550 Handmade Aluminum Serving Tray Platter Soft Rectangle

Nambe 550 Handmade Aluminum Alloy Serving Dish Made in New Mexico Simple yet sophisticated softened rectangular shape made from Nambé’s proprietary aluminum alloy metal. Sand cast and hand crafted. Thick and heavy for its size. This alloy is incredibly nonporous, relatively lightweight and superb at retaining both heat and cold for long periods. Each Nambé piece goes through a series of shaping, grinding, buffing and polishing steps. Slight imperfections are characteristic of the sand casting process.
 Since Nambé is hand crafted, no two pieces are exactly alike. Bears etched logo, model W168 and 1984. Beautiful vintage yet modern piece. Very good condition with normal marks of use and ware. The surface can be polished/reconditioned to like new condition. Condition consistent with age and use.
Lighter overall scratches, a couple of deeper scratches, and bottom is slightly discoloured as well.
