This is a magnificent Venetian glass bowl made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by V Nason & C., part of their Avventurina range. In a stunning combination of black glass with lots of copper Aventurine inclusions. V Nason was creating this type of glass from 1989 to 2001. Nice clean a polished bottom, small chip on base. Measurements in the pictures Excellent vintage condition, some chips on the rim, but it looks to just be a manufacturer defects. No cracks. I am not an expert in identifying glass, I feel that it is Nason Murano glass from my research. This item is Vintage, and pre-owned making it not in perfect like new condition, thus adding to its charm and originality.
